Garmont Nemesis 6.2 GTX is a water-repellent, cut-resistant, tactical ankle-high duty boot. The water-resistant, 3-season boot is ideal for activities that require speed, flexibility and athleticism.
The Nemesis upper is made of an innovative fabric composed of polyurethane, polyamide and polyester. This novel textile fabric is designed to weave the extremely abrasion-resistant PU threads directly into the fabric construction providing maximum abrasion resistance in the areas where it is particularly required.
The innovative Lenzi Perspair upper offers top performance in terms of abrasion resistance, lightness and flexibility.
It can improve physical performance and increase comfort for the user. The Nemesis is lighter, more flexible, requires less break-in time and feels more like athletic shoes than traditional work shoes. At the same time, it offers full protection and durability.
Nemesis upper is much more flexible and comfortable than the durable leather used in traditional boots.
Features such as flexibility, cushioning, cut/abrasion resistance, breathability, durability and safety are the main characteristics of the Nemesis.
The latest "One Piece of Upper" material technology allows the entire upper to be constructed in one weaving phase. The end result is wearing boots that feel like socks.
Another benefit of the "One Piece of Upper" solution is the increased strength of the upper, especially in wet conditions. The Nemesis upper exceeds the recommended abrasion resistance in wet conditions for demanding footwear, which requires a minimum of 12,800 rpm, with a value of 200,000 revolutions (EN 13520, ISO / TR 20879). The same applies to the flexibility test - 200,000 cycles without loss of elasticity (EN ISO 20344).
CUT RESISTANCE:
According to EN388, the Nemesis 6.2 GTX achieves protection level 5, the highest level of protection.
INSIDE LINE: The lightweight GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane construction is made of 3-layer laminate and is highly breathable, has high abrasion resistance and very good thermal conductivity. The Nemesis passes the flex test 500,000 cycles according to EN ISO 20344.
TOE CAP: Extruded thermoplastic synthetic composite material, 0.95 mm heat fused on both sides.
HEEL COVER: Extruded thermoplastic synthetic composite material, 1.3 mm heat fused on both sides.
TOE AND HEEL COVER: 1.2 mm thick black scratched rubber with high abrasion resistance and flame retardant compound.
LAST: The contours of the "erGo-Last" anatomical last are smooth and rounded to match the shape of the human foot. Shoes built on this last better envelop the foot, especially in the heel and sole area, for a more comfortable, ergonomic fit.
SOUL SYSTEM WITH DOUBLE CUSHIONING TECHNOLOGY:
The midsole consists of a two-part system that provides superior shock absorption. The long midsole absorbs impact at the bottom of the foot, while the inner half shock absorber absorbs impact at the heel. The combined result is improved cushioning and less fatigue. The inner layer is more anatomically designed in the heel and toe area to reduce foot movement in the shoe, in addition to increasing overall comfort and stability.
The long EVA midsole is reinforced in the midfoot area with a fitted shank to increase torsional rigidity. An ultra-thin TPU layer is inserted in the toe area to provide protection from rugged, rocky terrain.
FOOTBED: The eco-friendly Ortholite® X-35 hybrid footbed for instant comfort, superior moisture management and long-term cushioning.
OUTSOLE:
The Vibram® Extended outsole is made of a high-performance compound for a variety of work and use applications. This compound and the special positioning of the grooves provide a high level of traction on uneven ground, as well as durability and comfort.
sole is made of extremely durable rubber with <100 mm3 abrasion resistance (ISO 4649) hardness grade A 57 ° -63 ° (ISO 868).
1. large contact surface in the toe area for grippy performance on outdoor, indoor and off-road surfaces.
2. wide bumper in the heel area for improved grip, stability of the foot
3. profile with different heights for better traction and better stopping.

ADD® TECHNOLOGY
FROM THE GROUND, UP! !
Your foot is an extremely complex anatomical structure: 26 bones, 33 joints and more than 100 muscles, ligaments and tendons. Garmont® boots are designed to deliver the best mountain experiences. We start from the inside and work outward – by understanding the anatomy of the foot, analyzing movement, and determining what is going to deliver the best performance.
FEATURES:
Garmont’s Anatomically Directed Design (a.d.d.®) enables your foot’s natural ability to stabilize, absorb shock, and propel forward. Fit is enhanced by closely matching design and function to the natural asymmetric shape of your feet.
BENEFITS ADD®
ASYMMETRICAL CUFF
The ankle cuff is lower on the outside and taller on the inside for better edging, greater overall stability and comfort when traversing and scrambling.
ANATOMICAL TONGUE
The tongue matches the asymmetric shape of the top of your foot and ankle. It is thicker to the outside and progressively thinner toward the inside. This anatomic shape keeps the tongue in place resulting in better control, stability and comfort.
DIFFERENTIAL ANKLE PADS
Securely locks the heel in place for a precise fit around the ankle bones for better stability and support.
PRECISION LACING
The shoe flexes like your foot for out-of-the-box walking comfort.
ROOMY TOE BOX
Features a straighter shape to accommodate the natural position of the big toe. With this design your toes can provide better balance and propulsion.
ERGO LAST TECHNOLOGY
The contours of this anatomical last are smooth and rounded, to more closely follow the shape of the human foot. Footwear built on this last wrap the foot better, especially the heel and bottom of the foot, for a more comfortable, ergonomic fit.
DOUBLE DAMPER TECHNOLOGY
A two-part system for superior shock absorption. The midsole dampens ground impact while the internal shock absorber dampens heel impact. The combined result is enhanced cushioning and less fatigue. The inner layer is more anatomical in the heel and underfoot areas to help reduce foot movement within the shoe, adding greater comfort and stability overall.
GORE-TEX® EXTENDED COMFORT TECHNOLOGY
OPTIMIZED CLIMATE COMFORT FOR WARMER CONDITIONS AND DURING HIGHER ACTIVITY LEVELS – DURABLE WATERPROOF PROTECTION
Shoes engineered with GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort product technology are designed for indoor and outdoor use in moderate and warmer conditions or during higher activity levels. They are durably waterproof combined with optimized breathability and therefore the ideal solution for people who value outstanding climate comfort and heat release.
LENZI PUTEK FABRIC
Super abrasion-resistant threads directly woven in high resistance fabric for textiles with ultimate mechanical performances.
VIBRAM TECHNOLOGY
Vibram is a world leader in the production of high performance rubber soles for the sports, outdoor and leisure markets, as well as work and military footwear. Strict field tests ensure appropriateness and functionality in a wide range of solutions: the Vibram compound guarantees performance and safety in all situations.
